Marie Madin

I am a specialist mental health practitioner working for Royal Primary Care across the Clay Cross and Ashgate practices. This role is relatively new for me as I have spent most of my career working in forensic, crisis team,  rehabilitation, CMHT and Liaison team working in the Chesterfield Royal Hospital. I am hoping to start the none medical prescribing course this year which will enable me to expand my skills and knowledge around prescribing medication.

I was seconded to attended derby university for my mental health nurse training in 2003 after leaving a post as a support worker for learning disabilities and CMHT for many years.

My particular interests are promoting self help, by empowering individuals to be more proactive in their own recovery journey.

Nicola Shepherd-Boden

I have specialised in Mental Health Nursing since qualifying with BSc (HONS) from Sheffield University in 1999. Since that time I have undertaken roles in Forensic, Acute and Crisis settings, gaining a wealth of experience in risk management.

I am a Independent nurse prescriber and mentor for students within the organisation.

I have a particular interest in Solution based therapy and Psycho-social interventions to promote self recovery within the Primary care setting.
