Care Quality Commission (CQC)

CQC: Royal Primary Care Chesterfield was inspected by the CQC in January 2018. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our staff we have boosted our CQC rating from Inadequate to Requires Improvement, and as a result, taken Royal Primary Care out of ‘special measures’.

We are particularly pleased with our rating of GOOD in the safe domain.

This is an incredibly important stage in RPC’s progress, some of the areas of improvement the CQC particularly highlighted, included leadership, reviewing MHRA safety alerts, NICE guidance and recruitment.

“The providers had significantly strengthened their leadership and management and had taken a proactive team approach to making and sustaining improvements in quality.”

CQC Report: January 2018

We continue to work towards being rated as GOOD overall by 2019.
